SHE SHEE TRAVELS

The outdoors isn’t just what I photograph—it’s how I understand the world.

Field-based photography across storms, trails, and outdoor environments, creating visual stories for tourism, adventure, and commercial brands.

Hi, my name is She Shee

FREELANCE PHOTOGRAPHER, STORYTELLER AND OUTDOOR ADVENTURER

Hi, I’m She Shee — a storm, adventure, and outdoor photographer most often found somewhere between a backroad, a trailhead, and an approaching storm.

What started as a love for photography slowly turned into a life built around documenting the outdoors as it truly feels — unpredictable skies, long drives, quiet camp mornings, severe weather, and the moments in between that often go unnoticed. Over the years, that connection to the outdoors evolved into field-based storytelling focused on storms, travel, outdoor living, and the experience of being fully present in wild places.

Much of my work is created on the road and in real conditions, whether that means documenting severe weather across Tennessee, hiking into remote landscapes, or spending days camping and waiting for the sky to change. I’m drawn to environments that feel alive — places that remind us how small we are and how connected we become when we step outside our routines.

Alongside documentary work, I collaborate with tourism boards, outdoor brands, commercial campaigns, and editorial platforms to create authentic visual storytelling rooted in real experiences rather than staged moments. My work has been featured on Eye of the Storm for documentation of the 2023 Clarksville tornado, with ongoing projects continuing to expand across outdoor, travel, and weather storytelling.

When I’m not chasing storms or exploring new landscapes, I’m usually somewhere outside with a camera nearby — documenting the quieter side of life in the field through camping, travel, gear, and everyday moments outdoors.

Whether you’re here for the photography, the storms, the stories, or potential collaboration, I’m glad you found your way here.
